A political party in Israel needs 3.25% of the population to vote for you in order to enter Israel’s knesset or parliament.
I suggest in this video that you should only have one seat in order to enter. Therefore new voices and new ideas will be elevated.
I also think that being able to move to local representation will allow new solutions that come up from localities in order to reach the national level.
I also go into the challenge is that you have to sit in a coalition with other parties that also want to be prime minister so it is in their best interest to undermine the very government that they serve.
